Dr. Jessie Wu, L.Ac.
Dr. Jessie Wu has practiced traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture for 16 years. She graduated from Changchun University of Chinese Medicine in Jilin Province after a comprehensive five-year program covering TCM theory, diagnostic methods, herbal medicine, formulas, internal medicine and anatomy.
- Clinical background: she completed one year of further training and work in the acupuncture department of Dalian Municipal Hospital, then worked for two years in the acupuncture department of Weihai Municipal Hospital. She has practiced in the United States for many years.
- Pain focus: she uses specialized acupuncture techniques to support acute and chronic pain concerns including chronic strains, acute injuries, arthritis and peripheral neuropathy.
- Women’s and mind-body support: she works with menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, sweating, mood swings, palpitations and fatigue, and also supports anxiety, sleep concerns and adolescent menstrual issues.
